I’m Chaselynn

A chemistry nerd, baking newbie, and your new gut health cheerleader! I’m here to help you feel inspired to put your health first with gut healing recipes, sourdough breads, and a love for the simpler things in life. 


For as long as I can remember, focusing on health was always a top priority for me. I wanted to eat right, exercise, and feel like the best version of myself! And switching to freshly milled flour was the best place for me to start! It introduced me to my new-found passion for baking and my curiosity for gut healing foods like sourdough.

For most of my life I struggled with acne – a skin condition resulting from hormonal fluctuations that can be influenced by stress and an unbalanced gut. When I learned about my fiancé’s gut targeting autoimmune disease I knew that focusing on health, both in and out of the kitchen, was the best thing for us. 

 

After moving in with my fiancé, he gifted me my first ever grain mill. With most of our favorite foods revolving around highly processed flour, switching to freshly milled flour was the obvious option for prioritizing a healthier lifestyle. It’s packed full of incredible health benefits like fiber for digestive support, essential vitamins and minerals our bodies need, and a flavor that store bought flour just can’t compete with!  

Today, both of us feel healthier and happier than ever before! By switching to freshly milled flour, and prioritizing our mental and physical health, I noticed a significant improvement in our lives. My acne was subsiding, his acid reflux and heart burn were almost nowhere to be found, and we were beginning to feel like the best versions of ourselves!


Now, my goal is to inspire you to put your health first and become the best version of yourself! Whether you want to reset your gut, start a new hobby, or simply practice a healthier lifestyle – I created The Taste of Chemistry to motivate you to start focusing on the well-balanced life you deserve!
